National Parks Green Purchasing Assistance

Full Circle staff works closely with the National Park Service to expand implementation of environmental purchasing activities at headquarter and regional levels as well as in the individual parks.   Recent work includes:

  • tool and resource development, such as an environmental purchasing handbook – a basic how-to guide for parks
  • revamping of the green purchasing website
  • development of curriculum and delivery of training for satellite broadcast to parks throughout the country and for topical webinars
  • assessment and analysis of the regional EP programs and development of recommendations on ways to advance widespread implementation of EP
  • development of an electronic newsletter devoted to EP

and other projects, all in collaboration with the NPS regional and headquarter contacts.
